Great guide
All the basics and some nice ideas for your training
Some good ideas for further exploration
I would call this a decent program, but not a great one. There are many great programs on this site. Therefore I would not necessarily prioritize this one. Mr. Vinch is a component instructor and some of the ideas he presents, such as combining heavy bag work with pool noodles, are definitely useful. He has clearly been doing martial arts for a long time but does not come across as quite as knowledgeable as, say, Ray Sabur or Kirian Fitzgibbons. Nonetheless, if you really want to explore the possibilities of what you can do with a heavy bag, you might well want to look at this program.
Great Addition to a Workout or Training Day
I found this super helpful for making heavy bag sessions more interesting. I was in sort of a rut with my bag work and was looking for something to switch it up a bit. This was a fantastic way to add some techniques and approach the whole concept of heavy bag work with a different mindset. Thanks Charlie!
